My husband and i currently own a condo (50% ownership each). However, i would like to purchase a 2nd condo in the next few months. In order to avoid ABSD, can i transfer my 50% ownership to him as a gift? Will he need to pay me anything?

This is definitely possible. I have clients who did this before exercising the option for their 2nd property.
