There's nothing illegal to sell a private property with partition room. There is no need for you to reinstate the rooms before selling in the open market.

However, if your condo is partitioned in such way that makes it feel like a dormitory (to maximise on room rentals), then I would suggest you to reinstate it back to a more presentable home before putting it up in the market for sale.

Hi, I would be most glad to assist you further and pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance. It would be better and advisable to remove the partition wall first before opening the unit for viewing as it would look more presentable and spacious.

Having a partition room in a private property is fine but from experience, it would not provide a good viewing experience for the potential buyers as it would likely make the living area less spacious. It may also mean additional costs to the buyer to remove the partition and reinstate the unit if the partition room is not required. Therefore, usually, I will advise my clients to remove the partition room before opening the unit for viewing.
