Hi,

Since your parents have applied for subsidized housing twice from HDB, they are not eligible to be included in the new EC application. Your options available would be to either purchase resale HDB or to get a private condo development (new or resale). Thanks and hope to assist with your housing plans further.

Good morning buyer,

For public scheme, you have to include your parents in the application in order to be eligible to purchase a new EC but as your parents have purchased subsidised housing (BTOs) twice thus you will not eligible to purchase a single singaporean without them.

Btw is your sister a single singaporean and above 35 years old as well? If not, you can apply under joint singles scheme.

If not, your alternative will be new 2 RM BTO in non mature towns, resale HDB or EC or private property.

Afternoon,

Single SC are not eligible to purchase new EC and to apply it with your parents, your application would be considered as third timer. The priority and odds are not on your favor. Hence it would be good to look at resale EC or HDB unit.

Hi Sir,

You will not be eligible for the EC scheme since your parents have already enjoyed the entitlement twice. You may wish to consider to get a resale flat or resale EC instead.

A resale flat will allow you to move in within a short period of time and you are able to buy it at a good location with future redevelopment potential and appreciation.

A resale EC is typically cheaper than private condos within the same location. You may move in earlier and is definitely a more value for money alternative.
