Hi,

Typically the land plot is bigger and facilities more comprehensive. Its likely you also have more home occupiers as neighbours who will take care of the environment. More units could also mean lower maintenance fees.

In contrary to what Ivan has indicated, a bigger project can also mean less privacy, more neighbours to compete in the usage of facilities and etc.

It really depends on what your preference of lifestyle is. There is no pros and cons in such aspect. I have seen buyers who are only interested in boutique projects over mega projects even when pricing of the mega projects is attractive due to privacy preference.

Large condo development can be :
Large land plot (but not necessarily more residents)
Large number of units on a small plot ( higher building)

If large land plot :
More privacy,
Space
facilities

Large number of units ( compared to land size)
more facilities maybe more than 1 pool, more tennis courts
probably lower maintenance charges

in my opinion, large number of units tend to have more Cons than Pros, compared to large land plot but fewer units.

Example :
D Leedon (1700 units, land 8xx,xxx sqft)
Sommerville park ( 4xx units, land 8xx,xxx sqft)

You can feel the vast difference in SPACiousness , Serenity, etc of the environment,

Hi, a large size condo development would also meant that the management fee which you paid quarterly is going to be cheaper.

As first timers, you still able to enjoy up to $30k housing grant.

And EC are usually priced 20 to 30% cheaper than private property.

I do understand your concerns but not to worry.

Your maintenance fees is significantly lower. $210 for a 3 bedders only! Where to find?

There are ample of facilities. 3 swimming pools, a few bbq pits, kids playground etc.

This site is very near to our upcoming 2nd CBD in jurong. They provide shuttle bus to Jurong East and its within distance to Downtown line.

I just assisted two buyers to purchase units there. Why not let's meet up over a cup of coffee so I can elaborate more strengths of this EC?
