Dear Mr Ong,
Maintenance fees differs greatly from projects to projects, depending on the facilities within the project and the total number of units per project. I am aware of units going for as low as $100+ a month for projects which do not come with pool but only parking (I think cheaper than HDB lor...) while 2 rooms unit paying about $600+ a month because only 8 units in the development.
Maintenance fees within a project will also differ based on the contract awarded for the maintenance services, where I have came across projects which saw significant increase in their maintenance fees.
I suppose as long as the maintenance fees is within affordability, the main features of the projects themselves should be your primary considerations.
