Seller Stamp Duty is only applicable for properties in Singapore, and it is only payable if you had bought and sold the same property within the last 3-4 years. If you had held your property for more than 4 years, there is no SSD applicable.

Hi, as long as you have held your condo for more than 4 years, assuming you purchased it between 14 Jan 2011 and 10 Mar 2017, there is no seller stamp duty payable. You may refer to this link for more info on seller's stamp duty:

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Only local properties are subjected to Sellers Stamp Duty when you sell. For properties purchased on or after 11th Mar 2017, the period liable for Seller's Stamp Duty is 3 years. Properties purchased before 11th Mar 2017 are subjected to 4 years of seller's stamp duty.

Dear owner,

For your condo in Singapore, Seller's Stamp Duty is not applicable if you have fulfilled the holding period of 3 or 4 years depending on when you have executed the sales and purchase agreement or Option To Purchase, therefore it will be important to find out this date.

As for your overseas property, Seller's Stamp Duty is not applicable in Singapore, however, it will be in your best interest to check with the professional realtors in that country as different countries have different legislation on property sale and most common tax found is the capital gain tax for sale of property.

Care to share when did you exercise option to purchase (resale) or sales and purchase agreement (developer unit)?

The date of exercise will determine whether do you need to pay SSD for the sale.

As for your overseas property, it will be best to seek professional advice of that country if you are thinking of selling as well. The sale of that property will not be subject to SSD in Singapore.
