Tenant is the one paying the stamp duty which is not alot while the landlord will still be servicing the quarterly maintenance fee.

For stamp duty usually tenant will pay, Landlord will pay maintenance fees and property tax.

Stamp fee is usually paid for by the tenant.
Maintenance Fee payable to the condo mcst is paid for by landlords.

however, there are private arrangement between landlord and tenants , to have tenants pay for the MF, built into the rent.
