Hi,

For new ECs, unfortunately the applicants have to be at least of SPR status. For resale condos or private condos, there are no such restrictions, and neither does your spouse need to sell away her overseas property.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Non-citizen spouse scheme does not apply for new EC. Your spouse need to be at least SPR in order for the application to go through.
Since this is the case, you can opt for resale EC instead. With this option, she can opt to keep the overseas property without the need to dispose of it.

You won't be able to qualify for a new EC however you may wish to consider a resale EC, your Non-Citizen spouse will not need to dispose her properties in this way.

Good evening buyer,

You are not eligible to apply for a new EC with your non citizen spouse.

If your wife turns SPR, she must first dispose off her overseas property first and observe 30 months waiting period before both of you can apply for new EC.

If she doesnt wish to dispose off overseas property, you might have to opt for private property or resale EC.
