Good afternoon,

Sorry to hear about the unfortunate situation, hope you are managing well. If the property is still under the 4 year holding period, seller stamp duties of up to 16% will apply. There is also a need to apply for approval to sell before MOP period is completed.

Hi;

So sorry to hear that.. You are required to pay Seller's Stamp Duty if the property was bought less than 4 years ago( from the date of purchase, not key collection ). Special approval needed for sale before MOP.. I have personally dealt with few divorces cases before. Feel free to contact me for more details..

You need to seek approval from hdb board before selling your EC .

The amount of penalty or SSD seller stamp duty ranges from 4 to 16 % , it is calculated based on selling your EC before 4 years has past , from the date of key collection to your EC .

No SSD penalty after the 4 years , please note approval to sell is still needed .
