Afternoon,

ABSD is payable as long as you have more than one property in hand, as an SC. If the trainer is able to get around it, then I'm sure he would have make it huge by this time.

I suppose if you are firm in believing that local trainer who indicated that ABSD can be avoided in purchasing a 2nd residential property under your name, you will not be seeking clarifications here. And I am definitely glad that you are seeking 2nd opinion here on the right channel than through unqualified sources.

ABSD can never be avoided if you already have a residential property in Singapore under your name and purchasing a 2nd residential property under your name now.
