I would most definitely agree that if you do meet the eligibility criteria for EC purchase , it is most evidently a good investment, for a lower quantum in comparison to similar sized private condos, you receive a far wider and exponential capital appreciation / gain %. Some fun facts-
-Do you know that 3,864* units of EC has been sold in the first 10 months of 2017 alone?
-Do you know that there are less than 400 existing EC units* in the market currently?
-Do you know that based the above supply and rate of sales, the existing ECs will become ‘extinct’ in 1-2 months**?

If you can qualify for new EC, and product and location attributes are suitable for you, it is pretty much an easy choice given that its affordability versus nearby private condos. It is an affordable method to enjoy a condo lifestyle. No property investment comes with guaranteed returns, but at least vs newer private condos in Sengkang area you are entering at a relatively lower price with a bit of buffer (10-20% difference).
