Yea sure, there are buyers who plan their approach this way and sell upon TOP for some capital gains. It is better than leaving the funds in the bank account. However, it is important to be selective on projects because not all projects can profit in this manner.

Hi Omate,

1) It is not uncommon to see young people like yourself start at an early age to grow your wealth.
2) I have seen many, the youngest I came across was a 23-year-old PR, paying 5% ABSD to buy a 2 bedroom unit.
3) Since you are SC and do not subject to ABSD and have the capability to invest. You are at a good advantage against many people.
4) The earlier you start the more you will gain.
5) I would say you are lucky to meet people or friends to explain to you to look into new paunch rather than resale.
6) You have to let your friend explain why that is a good investment because there are many new launches at the moment. Each has its' own good point but not everyone will have a high growth potential.

Yes this is possible, however, you need to very selective in the project that you are buying because not all projects may appreciate in the next 3 to 4 years. Do also take note that you should not over stretched yourself in the purchase since you are only purchasing under a single name.

It is possible for you to do that. However, given that we are now at a historic high, it is very important for you to select the right development and unit.

Many Buyers today has the FOMO mentality when it comes to new launches purchases, and this could be a reckless mistake which they regret in the years to come.

A Buyer who purchased a new launch few years ago may enjoy some sizable profits today due to the current market sentiment. But that doesn't mean a Buyer who purchase a new launch today will enjoy the same sizable profits in the years to come.

Before you make a decision to purchase, it is best if you can have a clear exit strategy in mind. Ask yourself some of the relevant questions like:
- what is your investment timeframe and projected profit?
- who will be your eventual buyers?
- will it be easy for you to sell the property?
- what is the upside potential of the development?
- what is your downside risk?
etc.
