Evening,

SPR can only purchase resale HDB unit with another SPR or SC spouse. You can however purchase private property. Depending on how much CPF you have and the loan eligible to you, it might be still tight unless you have around $250k to $300k cash.

Hi,

You are only eligible for a private condo, and it is better to purchase under your sole PR name to minimize the ABSD payable. For the loan, it depends on your age, credit and income profile and any other loans you have. Thanks and hope to discuss further and make better recommendations.

Hi,
To be eligible to purchase HDB, you and your wife need to be at least Singapore PR for 3 years.
As per your current status, the only option is that you can go for Private Condominium / Apartment.
There are different Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) for PR and Foreigner, thus would suggest you to apply a bank loan under sole income (Sole purchase) as the ABSD is 5% for PR and 15% for foreigner.

Good morning buyer,

Your wife has to be SPR for at least 3 years before both of you are eligible to purchase a resale HDB. But not to worry, you are eligible to purchase a private condo or apartment.

It will be best to purchase one solely under your name as you will only be subject to 5% ABSD as SPR. If purchase with your foreigner wife, it will be 15% ABSD.

And to get an in principle loan to gauge how much loan you can obtain, do get in touch with me so my banker can advise you on it.
