Hi Mr Neo, if the landlord is overseas, then the landlord agent ought to scan the TA over, have the landlord to sign and after that scan it back to the agent.

Hi Mr Neo,

As mentioned by Aaron, Landlord must scan the SIGNED TA to his agent, who will in turn, forward to you or your agent.

This should be sufficient and it has worked well for all of us agents.

However, if you have reasons to be skeptical, I would urge that you request the Landlord to also scan Passport along with the SIGNED TA and email to you.

It has happened before, where the landlord later 'dishonour' the TA, claiming that he did not sign the TA, and that the signature was not his, and that he has never even seen the TA.

One other way would be to request LL to go to SIngapore consulate in whichever country he is in, to Certify True copy and that email over the Signed and Stamped TA.

Although that will be a little over the top.

Hope my reply helps.
