Good morning Jenny,

You can purchase a resale HDB before (conditions need to be met) or after you sell off a condo.

If you are referring to BTO (new HDB), you need to observe waiting period of 30 months after condo sale before you can apply for BTO.

You can apply for the next resale hdb flat before or after selling the condo.

For new BTO purchase direct from HDB, you need to wait out 30 months after selling the private property before you are eligible to apply for the new BTO.

Ivan understood there's urgency to sell my private property too within the given timeframe, provided me with assurance and solutions. When the sale of my private property commenced, it was during the Covid-19 pandemic period; whereby, only 2 unique visitors were allowed to view the property on any given day. Notwithstanding this, Ivan somehow managed to arrange many viewings in the weeks ahead & from time to time, he would also update me on the viewers' feedback (if any), after their viewings. My place was eventually sold within 5 weeks only from the commencement of its marketing (which was well ahead of the 6 months deadline that I had to meet). Dear Jenny,

There is no wait out period if you are going for resale HDB, otherwise you will need to wait out for a period of 30 months before you are eligible to purchase directly from HDB after relinquishing your ownership in the private residential property.
