Hope experts here can help with my queries.

I bought my 3rd private property (condo) and had paid the 10% absd, which reaches the TOP date this month.

I have since sold of my 2nd property (condo) and therefore now, I am only left with 2 private properties.

Am I able to apply for a refund for the ABSD paid for the 3rd property ? If yes, what is the percentage ?

In the case whereby I sold off my 1st property within this six months, what is the percentage of the refund then?

Good afternoon Steve,

I am not sure whether are you able to obtain partial or full ABSD refund. Maybe you can approach the law firm that assist you with this purchase and seek legal advice from them as they will be the one that assist you with the remission.

If not, I can email IRAS on your behalf and update you accordingly.

Under your circumstances, you are not entitled to claim back your ABSD , however you can try your luck if you wish to appeal to IRAS though chances are slim .

Kindly contact me for your property needs .

My charges are 1% commission for exclusive selling rights to your property if you wish to sell .
