Hi,

We bought a HDB 2 years ago and I am only a occupant, not a co owner. Am I eligible to buy a condo with top year 2019 ( after 5 years from 2013) now? I dont have a loan, but our HDB loan is on my spouse's name and is not paid off fully. Or can we both together also buy a condo?

Hi,

You need to met MOP of 5 years before you can purchase any 2nd residential property. Thanks and hope it clarifies.

Hi,
If you are only the occupant for the hdb, you can purchase a condo yourself. Your spouse can only purchase with you after MOP.

To assist and advise you in details, kindly drop me an email for me to share.

I can be contactable at my mobile or email.

Afternoon,

As per your statement, I would deem that the current unit is either purchased under single scheme (before marriage) or under non-citizen spouse scheme. If the latter is true, I'm afraid you are not eligible to purchase private property as of now.
