For purchase of private property, as long as you are aged 21 and above, having substantial income to facilitate a mortgage loan, you will be eligible for the purchase. You will also be eligible to utilize your CPF monies if you are contributing to it.

You are definitely eligible to buy. In fact the legal age to purchase a property is 21 years old.

You are able to use the amount in your Ordinary Account of your CPF for the purchase of a property. The CPF can also be used to pay legal fees and stamp duties, depending on the amount you have.

But before you decide to commit to any property, I will suggest you speak to a few agents first. See what each individual agent's plan is for you and select the one you feel most comfortable with.

Today is a buyers' market and there are so many to choose from. So What to buy is not the most important question. It is the Why and How that makes up the fundamentals of property purchase.
