Hi Gurus. May I ask, Freehold and Leasehold, which one is better, and why ?

I assume that you are asking about residential property and not commercial property.
Purchasing of property is not just based on freehold or leasehold. It also depends on what you can afford and what you wish to achieve.
If it is for your own stay - either is just fine, there isn't any additional advantages living in either.
If your objectives are to purchase the home and leave it for your next generation, then purchasing a freehold property should be the one of choice.
But prices of freehold properties are quite high. Especially those that have potential future capital gains.
