hi gurus

i current owned a hdb which i've been staying for more than 20 yrs, i have the intention of buying a condo and rent out my hdb. does hdb allow hdb owner to rent out whole unit of the hdb and stay at condo? pls advise. thank you

Hi,

As long as you are citizen and have your MOP of HDB met, you can buy condo and rent out your HDB. Thanks and may I understand your housing requirements and value-add further to your housing plans?

Hi,
You are allow to rent out the whole hdb unit after 5 years MOP, but hdb approval is still needed. Fyi, the ABSD of 7% is payable for 2nd property.
