Hi,

Assuming no other major loan obligations, based on your age and income profile your max loan is approximately $668k, hence approx $900k purchase price is a good reference for purchase.

It also depends on how much monthly you are comfortable with for the monthly mortgage. The monthly for $668k loan, 30 years tenure and 1.4% pa is approx $2,274 per month.

Based on the information you provided, assuming you don't have any other loans and able to loan up to 75% of the property, the loan you can take is $668,000 and highest price of condo recommended will be $890,666.

Based on this loan quantum, your monthly instalment will be $2,470.

This is just an estimate based on your income and no any other commitment. But the most important is if you are able to finance comfortably.

It will be good if we can discuss further and do a prudent planning including if we should go ahead with new condo or a resale condo as all these also willl depend on your plan.
