For the en-bloc sale of condos under one development, will the condo with a bigger share value get more compensation in terms of cash than one with smaller share value? Also, is it true that the stay-in period must be at least 3 years or more to qualify for compensation? What will the owner get if he moved in for less than 3 years?

Hi,

In the case of an enbloc, the apportionment of payout depends on not only the share value, but also other considerations like valuation, unit size, floor level etc. For more detailed on the breakdown, you will have to look into further details in the apportionment method.

Also, there is no minimum stay-in period for you to be apportioned the sales. As long as you are the owner, you will be apportioned with your fair share from the deal.

However, do take note that the 3-year SSD period applies, just like any sale and purchase.

Thank you.
