Assume you take up a 60% bank loan instead of a max 80% possible, 20% downpayment will be payable within 8 weeks of booking unit. The balance 20% will be payable in construction phases, will be glad to send you a chart to illustrate when and how much. May I have more details so I can understand your situation better? I will love to assist you with your purchase of second residential property.

Do take note that as you have an outstanding housing loan currently, you are only eligible to take up to 50% bank loan thus your downpayment will be 25% cash and 25% CPF OA funds.

I can ask my banker to advise you on your in principle approval so you will have a gauge how much loan can you obtain.

The payment schedule will be as such: 5% booking fee upon booking then balance 15% to be paid within 8 to 9 weeks from booking date/ OTP grant date.

Balance 30% will be payable during the construction phase.

Last of all, if you have utilized CPF OA funds in your current property, you have to set aside a minimum sum of $77.5k in your CPF OA + SA before you can use the excess in this purchase. And you will be subject to ABSD according to your residency status. SC: 7%.
