Hi Angela, it is more of the location and is it near to MRT and etc. I do know of a number of loft projects at Balestier area where the rental yield is high simply because it is City Fringe. Could I know which project are you referring to so that I could value add?

Hi Alicia,

A loft is only a feature of a property, therefore only when prospective tenants and buyers see a benefit in having this loft will it be a value add to the property value. It is the same for location, facing and renovation. If there is no price difference between the loft unit and conventional layout and all other factors are the same, perhaps a loft unit makes better sense.
