Hi Jeffrey,there no hidden cost like u mention. Is all mention and open to all,u can check all this from law firm too. Alot of factors need to be consider,what is your nationality (local,PR or foreigner) and is the next condo purchase your first property? Stamp duty will base on that to calculate.

Typical breakdown for SC 1st property purchase as follows:
Cash 5% (minimum)
CPF 15%
Max bank loan 80%
Buyer stamp duties (BSD) and legal fees approx 3%

There may be Additional Buyer Stamp Duties (ABSD) depending on whether you are SPR or foreigner, or SC purchasing your 2nd residential property. Otherwise, pretty much most of the costs are covered in above breakdown.

Assuming it is your 1st Property Purchase and you are a Singaporean, there will be Buyer Stamp Duty as well as Legal Fees payable.

The typical payment breakdown will be:
5% - Cash (minimum)
15% - CPF/Cash/both
80% - Loan (max is 80%)

For a new condo purchase, this is the breakdown:

- 5% Cash upon booking
- 3% approximately Stamp Duty within 2 weeks after exercising.
- 15% CPF or Cash within 8 weeks of booking
- $2000 legal fees

There are basically no hidden cost for purchasing of new condos.

What you need to set aside (assuming your qualify for 80% loan) would be:
1) 5% CASH for downpayment
2) 15% CASH/CPF for downpayment
3) Stamp Duties (BSD/ABSD)
4) Conveyancing Fees

Also, you do not need to pay any agent fees. Hence, no other hidden costs.
