Hi there,

There is no straightforward answer. It depends on your objective for this house.After which, you are able to weigh your priorities and analyse accordingly. Your priority will determine which house is better for you.

1. For example, if you do not wish to put too much down payment for your house, EC might be a better choice.

2. If you are looking to cash out from the house in another 10 years time, you will need to look at past transacted records and do your analysis. If condo is able to give you a better return on investment then it might be a better choice for you.

Able to share more about the two projects that you are comparing?

Typically resale EC will be cheaper in terms of psf compared to private. Private is able to be sold to foreigners at anytime but resale EC has to be privatised from 11th year onwards to be eligible to sell to foreigners.
