Similar to balconies, they form part of the private strata area paid by home owners.

A PES - is referring to Private Enclosed Space, which is usually referred to units on the ground floor,

Units on the upper floor, we call it a Balcony (but it is still a PES)

Units on the Top floor (aka Penthouse), we call it Roof Terrace (but it is still a PES).
