Hi there, am looking to buy a 2 or 3 bedroom around $600-$700k budget in the North such as Yishun. Is there a period that they allow me to sell my current flat in order to pay for the Condo? After selling the flat, will have cash+cpf around $250k with a monthly salary of $4500. Is that even possible to get a loan? Thank you!

Hi,

I think I may have answered your enquiry as its similar. If there isn't enough funds on hand, will have to sell first then buy. Loan wise its possible but it depends on your age profile and debt obligations as well. A 2bedroom EC in yishun is about 568k, hence it looks possible but I need more info.

Based on your income, you should be able to secure an estimated loan of $600,000 over a 30 years period.

If you need the funds from the HDB to finance the condo purchase, I will suggest you to sell your HDB first so that you can time it such that the funds will be in to complete the purchase of the condo.

You mentioned your income of $4500, but you did not specify your age, which is most crucial. Without that, I cannot give you an estimate loan you can get.
