Bigger size resale HDB or EC?
We are staying in a 3-room HDB which is due for MOP soon. What kind of house should we proceed next?
We are considering 3-bedder EC, those within our budget is only 900+/-sqft, or HDB EM, which in market now are mostly 30yrs old, certainly a bigger space but fear depreciation when we sell next time.
We are looking for:
1) At least a 10 year stay
2) Enough space for 3 adults, 3 children (at least 3 bedders, hopefully more than 1200 sqft)
We are able to afford a 700-800k EC, but it can be quite a stretch financially, also the size puts me off. Understand EC should be a safer option if we were to sell in 10yrs time. Whereas a 500k-600k EM would give us some "breathing space" financially and we really need the space as well. It's a dilemma.
Would appreciate kind advises.
