Dear Sir/Mdm,
Our housing market is supported by strong fundamentals. With the series of cooling measures introduced by the Singapore government, most of the real estate investors are in for the medium to long term unlike previously when a lot of them are short term speculators.
The government also tweak or relax the cooling measures to boost the market in the worst case scenario of an economy crisis. Ultimately, the government wants to achieve a stable market where there isnt huge upswing or drop in price.
For property investment, it is important to identify properties that are undervalued as compared to the rest and also those that have got upside potential in the future.
