Afternoon,

For PR, they can only purchase resale HDB unit as family. Hence the unit have to be under both names. The only thing that can be adjusted is the holding manner: joint or tenancy in common.
If one of the buyer have private property, they are to have their names removed within 6 months from key collection.

Hi Sugai.

It must be under both names as they purchase it under public scheme.

If anyone of them owns a private property, it must be disposed off within 6 months from completion date (second appointment).
