Dear Sir/Mdm,

If you are planning to buy a private house, the banks will compute your Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR),considering your other debts. Previously is it known as the Debt Servicing Ratio (DSR). At the same time, banks will be using Income-Weighted Average Age to determine loan tenure. These two components may affect the loan amount that you might get.

As I am unsure of the type of private houses you are looking at, you might want to take note that there is a 5% ABSD for 1st Property for PR.
