What is the possibility that the demand for rental premises comes to almost zero, say by year 2020?

That would depend on the policies that the government has put out.
I do not think demand for rental would be almost zero as there are still students, and expatriates who come here to study and work. These people would not be able to afford buying and can only look to rent.
