Good afternoon,

I think this next 3 to 6 month window is a good time to sell as resale HDB prices are currently at an all-time high, and it will not be an surprise if the government intervenes soon with cooling measures if prices start to run up faster than incomes and affordability. Such signs are already starting to show as we saw in the news recently with a $1.4 million transaction for a HDB 5-room in Redhill area. There are also potential economic headwinds looming and the sentiment can change quickly with global events. Just my 2 cents opinion.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

This is a good time to consider selling your flat because HDB price index is on a high as there is a shortage of supply of units in the market current. However in time to come, the supply will slowly catch up with the easing of restrictions, I would expect HDB price to fall.

If is also important to consider your intentions after selling the flat. If you are looking to upgrade then I think this is a good time to lock in the lower interest rates.
