What is a private property? and the difference btw private property and HDB? appart from the facilities?

EC after 10 year will be private but the lease period is still 99 years? why is the value more than an EC of the same propert/?

Hi Chong,

Allow me to explain in simple way. HDB = Government subsidied Flats, Private = Non-Government developers. Private Property can be 99 years, 999 years lease or Freehold. Property value depends on market price. EC is normally low-end Condo to bridge the gap between HDB and Private. But some EC value can be higher, for example "Bishan Loft".
