1) From your statement, it seems like you don't want the flat anymore.
2) In general when we wanted to have other property options after an HDB flat is bought we will sell it in open-market, or surrender to the HDB.
3) However, usually this can be done after meeting the MOP.
4) Exception is only when there is a life event that happened such as divorce, death or loss of job leading to unable to finance the mortgage, change of residential status, etc.
5) It is very uncommon that you wanted to give up your flat right after the completion of the sale.
6) I would suggest you bring this up to the HDB and seek their advice on the option you have. You may send your inquiry via the feedback channel:
