Dear Mr. Kwok,

Greetings!

You can own private property when you are purchasing the unit, unless you are applying for a CPF Housing Grant and/or an HDB loan.

However, all owners and occupiers listed in the resale application must sell of any interest in any private residential property (both overseas and/or local) within 6 months from the completion of the purchase of the resale flat.

If you require any other assistance, please feel free to give me a call. Look forward to hear from you.

Yours truly,

Hi,

If you intend to get another HDB after you sell off the current one, then I would suggest that it will be better to keep this current one.

The new regulation require you to dispose all your pte property upon purchase a HDB flat.
