It's a common practise in today's context where married couples purchase private property under individual names. This is to allow a couple to have a total of 4 private properties before they are liable for ABSD. However, as per what Joel have said, since it purchase of two properties under two individuals, it would be prudent to work on your financial component before rushing into it. You also need to work on your investment term and holding ability.
