When you buy a HDB flat, you are not allowed to buy any property here or overseas for a period of 5 years. So, please bear that in mind.

Hi,

Its not possible. You can't own overseas property when buying the next hdb flat. And once you buy the next flat, you need to wait out 5 years MOP before you can buy another private or overseas property.

Hi Vincent,

Unfortunately this is not possible because upon buying a 3 room resale flat, you are not supposed to buy any residential properties locally or overseas within the 5 years MOP.

You cannot buy the property in JB first because if you have a overseas residential property, you will not be allowed to buy a HDB flat.
