Hi

Qn: What if my parents do not own any property in Singapore but overseas, can we let them stay as occupiers?

- you can if you are purchasing a dual-key unit in a project that is not affected by the multi-generation ruling. It will be best if you are able to quantify 'future' for a more accurate answer.

Qn: what are our chances of getting dual key unit?

- Well, if you are getting a dual-key unit from the projects that are currently in the market, your chances are 100% subject to your acceptance of the available units for walk-in selection.

- If you are going for yet-to-be-launched projects, you would have to go through a balloting process, either developer or HDB system. For balloting, not only does being a 1st timer or 2nd timer play a part in getting a good ballot number, luck plays a very essential role as well.
