We are currently looking at a 4 room flat. Went visiting and we found 1 unit that we like. But the owner's asking price is a lot higher than the market value. Condition is also terrible that requires full renovation. How will I be sure I am getting a good negotiated pricing? Is it true that the current market is riding on negative COV? We are 1st time buyers looking at the resale market. Thanks/

If a unit is being represented by a salesperson for sale, I am quietly confident that price of unit should not be too far off the market asking, otherwise he or she would be simply wasting their precious time. I am also quite interested to find out, if the price has been quoted to you prior to arrangement of viewing, why would you take your precious time off to view this property?

Hi Mr D J, are you open to Hougang area? I have a spacious 4A HDB unit at Blk 661 Hougang Ave 4. It is on a high floor at 11th. This unit is beautifully renovated and a move in condition. Recent expired valuation was 450k. This unit is very near to both Hougang MRT as well as Sengkang MRT.
