This year i just bought my own first private property.My loan size was 1.2m but i only took 800k but now i am looking at the option to buy another one bedder condo but joint with a friend.Is joint investment workable and is my another loan of 400k still possible?

Hi investor,

For 2nd mortgage you won't be able to get the maximum usually, it might be up to 50% only.

It is possible but for this particular investment you will need to fork out more cash as you will only be able to secure up to 50% loan. You will also need to take into consideration the 7% Additional Buyer Stamp Duty which is payable into your financial planning. If the figures make sense, you can then proceed to purchase this 2nd property.
