Sir, I have just completed my first appointment for purchasing 3NG apartment in Ang-mo-kio block 108. That is 30 years old apartment. Before purchasing it, my agent said that there will not be any issues when i am selling this house in future. I believed and proceeded with the purchase process. When my friend contacted my agent to purchase similar 30 years old apartment in other area, she said not to buy that house as there will be issues in selling 30 years old apartment.

But now i am worried about this, will there be any issues in selling this house in future as it is 30 years old now itself. Please help to clarify.

Please note that almost all the 3rm flats in AMK estate is abt 27-30yrs. In other Estates, the 3rm flats "youngest" age is almost 25yrs in Woodlands & "oldest" in Queenstown estate abt 40yrs. So if you decided & purchased a 3rm flat, then you decision is correct. There will NOT be issues whenever you want to sell a 3rm flat, either tomoro or 10/20/30yrs later.

As for your friend, if age is an issue, then he has to purchase readily available 4/5rm resale flats aged abt 6yrs upwards.
