Hi,

1) All citizens only have 2 chances to apply for a subsidized flat.
2) This condition is critical, so you have to check carefully on your parent and grandparents' situation.
3) Subsidized flat means buying directly from the HDB under BTO/SBF and queuing system practiced before the 90s'. Buying a resale flat with grants is also considered a subsidized flat.
4) If they are unsure about this, you have to request the HDB to check on their eligibility for buying a BTO.
5) The 3-Gen BTO application has the highest priority and more flats are allocated under this category. Therefore, go ahead to apply for a BTO/SBF if your parent and grandparents are still eligible.
6) You can opt for a bigger flat under the 3-Gen instead of buying a 2-room under the Single Citizen scheme.
7) Make sure you are cleared from DCP as soon so that you stand a better chance of getting the HDB loan.
