Singapore Citizen earning more than 12,000 can't buy a new HDB/EC house despite of first timer. Please confirm.

Morning,

The income ceiling for EC and DBSS and BTO have being capped at $12k and $10k respectively. Even with resale unit, the income have being capped at $10k, if you are looking at getting the housing grant. However, if you are looking at buying resale flat with bank loan, there's no caps to your income ceiling.
