Hi, is it for investment purposes? If so, buying a resale would match your objective right away but bear in mind that due to the weak employment market right now, it will take a longer time than usual to get your unit rented out. In fact, there are many resale unit including district 11 that are selling below valuation. And I do have a 2 bedroom at Gilstead 2 that is on a high floor and very reasonably priced too. A resale unit is more ideal as you will be able to rent out the unit immediately and enjoy the positive cash flow from the rental. For resale units, the PSF price is also lower as compared to new development. This will translate to a higher rental yield for you.
