Query on current property prices as boyfriend and I looking to get a place - combined monthly income is above SGD12K. Want to know range of property prices to allow for budgeting.

For Example: Price of property in Ang Mo Kio or St. Georges Rd Or in City Area.

Hi,

What kind of properties are you referring to and would you prefer? In this case, you are eligible for both resale HDB or new launch/resale private property as your income exceeds the required ceiling. Are you open to under construction new launch projects? Thanks and hope to have more details before value-adding with suggestions further.

- this will affect additional buyer's stamp duty if applicable

2) combined finances on hand?
- cash and CPF OA funds. This will affect the affordability of the property you can purchase

- speak to a banker to find out how much both of you can loan up to

- Own stay or investment

5) type of housing?
- HDB or private

    Both of us are Singaporeans, looking for a place for our personal use - last check with a bank, loan amount available is : 750,000

With the total income of 12K, the estimated loan quantum can be as high as 1.5M assuming not serving any other loan. I would suggest to set the budget to 1 - 1.2 Mil of property. Be prepare that cash down payment will be around 250K.
