To purchase a HDB:
You need to sell off your condo and observe a 30 months period.

There are however no restrictions to owning more than 1 private property? Are you looking out for an additional property for investment purposes to enhance your portfolio?

Hi,

For SPRs to purchase resale hdb, only a legally married couple where both have been PRs for 3 years or more, can purchase. If its an SPR-SC household, this will not apply. SPR households cannot purchase BTO.

If you are eligible to purchase resale hdb and already own a condo, you have to sell away your condo within 6 months after key collection to HDB.

Morning,

Since you're currently a private property owner, you will only be eligible to purchase Resale HDB unit if you are married to another SPR or SC. You will also be required to sell away your private property within 6 months from key collection date.

Good morning!

To be eligible to purchase a resale HDB, you must have to form a family nucleus with a Singapore or SPR spouse. Both SPRs must be SPR for at least 3 years before you can purchase.

Yes you have to sell off your condo within 6 months from completion date.

Why are you thinking of purchasing a resale HDB?

If you want to hold two properties, you should consider condo instead but do take note that you will be subject a total of 13% (3% BSD + 10% ABSD) stamp duties on your second property purchase.
