Our MOP is in Jan 2016. When will be the earliest we can start buying our second property? Some said as early as 6 mths prior to MOP, or must wait till Jan 2016?

Afternoon,

Uoon fulfilling MOP, you are eligible to purchase your second property. Only SC owners will be allowed to retain their HDB unit while SPR owners will be required to sell away their HDB within 6 months from key collection of their private property.

Good Day to you,

To help with your question, it is only after the Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) that you will be able to buy your second property. In your case, it will be in January 2016.
