Hi,

Option fee can be paid to the rightful owners through their appointed agent. However, do take note that Agents are not suppose to handle "CASH" transaction monies. Other forms like cheques and cashiers orders are allowed.

If you insist by paying CASH as your option fee, you will have to hand the CASH over the the owner directly.

Option Money can be bank transferred directly to the rightful owners. Do make sure the sellers show you ownership proof eg property tax statement / myHDB page / Intent To Sell.

Sellers sometimes can authorize agents to collect option money. The authorization letter is inside the OTP page 10. Do make sure no cash but cheque only.
